SAUCY MARY'S LODGE lies not far beyond the Skye Bridge just off the main road in Kyleakin. The check-in/reception area is located in the Saucy Mary's shop.

Normal check-in hours are 3pm-8pm - if you wish to check in outwith these hours, please email us.

Travelling by car or on foot?
From Glasgow - A82 to Invergarry, then A87 to Kyle of Lochalsh / From Inverness – A82/A887/A87 to Kyle of Lochalsh. Cross the Skye Bridge (toll free), turn left at roundabout (look at the road, not the views!).When you enter Kyleakin, pass a row of houses and a hotel on your right. When you reach an open grassy area on your right, look for the Saucy Mary's Lodge sign, visible from the road. Free parking in front of the hostel and paid parking facilities available nearby.

Bussing it?
Bus services regular between Kyleakin and the mainland (Inverness, Fort William and Glasgow); regular shuttle service between Kyleakin and Kyle of Lochalsh across the bridge. The bus stop is conveniently located beside Saucy Mary's Lodge and in fact the stop is referred to as “Kyleakin Youth Hostel”, the old name for Saucy Mary's Lodge.

Or a nice leisurely train journey?
There are train services between Kyle of Lochalsh and Inverness. A short walk from the train station to the old ferry terminus will take you to the bus stop. From here regular shuttle services and any available bus heading for Broadford, Portree, Uig or Dunvegan will take you straight to Saucy Mary's Lodge.

Getting around
Buses run regularly to Portree (via Broadford and Sligachan), Dunvegan, Fort William and Inverness. The train from Kyle of Lochalsh stops at Plockton.
